About Grace
Grace Herzberg grew up in Ankeny, Iowa and earned her B.A. in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration at Iowa State University where she minored in French and Emerging Global Diseases. Her high school biology teacher introduced her to the world of scientific illustration through a documentary about Australopithecus afarensis, inspiring her to combine art and science herself.
Grace received her Master of Arts in Medical and Biological Illustration at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in May 2024 and now works at the University of Georgia Educational Resources Center within the College of Veterinary Medicine as a Medical Illustrator.
