Ekyaalo Breast Vision

This project was created in collaboration with Johns Hopkins CBID – the Center for Bioengineering, Innovation, and Design. Each CBID team of graduate students pitched their bioengineering solution to us – in this case, I worked with the Eykaalo Breast Vision Team, made up of amazing team members: Yeo Kim Hwang, Pavithran Naicker, Leanne Pichay, and Teja Sathi.

Client: CBID Eykaalo Breast Vision team – Yeo Kim Hwang, Pavithran Naicker, Leanne Pichay, and Teja Sathi

Audience: Potential investors

Moodboards

First, I created a moodboard with a proposed color scheme that was in line with the CBID team's pitch deck provided.

Storyboards and Scripting

We wrote a script together as a team, then I put that script to storyboards. This created valuable discussion to fit the team’s vision as I moved into creating assets and animating in After Effects. We were very fortunate to have an incredible voice artist and journalist, Josephine Namakumbi, voice our animation!

Asset Creation and Keyframing

After solidifying the script, recording audio, and locking in our storyboard, I built assets and started key framing each scene. Assets were built in Illustrator, then brought in as separate objects in After Effects.
