      This labeled illustration was displayed in the first year veterinary students’ cumulative review interactive for the gastrointestinal tract. The illustration schematically represents arterial branching patterns and supply to the stomach, pancreas, and spleen.<\/p>

      Double suture ligation technique along with a large spatial separation between ligated arteries and the spleen were used to quickly communicate to first year students where supply was cut for a total splenectomy. Bright aqua suture material was depicted to be colorblind-friendly and stand out visually despite their small size.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      Intact anatomy was also illustrated to act as a reference for veterinary students learning about arterial supply to the stomach, pancreas, and spleen.
